Happy Birthday to my hubby! He doesn't like to do anything special on his birthday so I am sure it will be a laid back affair. I am baking him a cake which I will decorate and my son and I are giving him and ipod so he can listen to his music in the truck and on the boat. I hope he likes it! He works so hard and is under alot of stress at work so I am hoping that he will be able to relax a bit and just enjoy the day.

I'm BACCCCCKKKK!!! I love the blog design....I tried her stuff and couldn't get it to work right....maybe it was because my modem wasn't working right. I might try again. I love the vintage ones they had.
My modem was the reason that the music on my blog would make my interent go off and on when I signed on...so weird.
I've got several posts....and yes, it is true, boy...without a computer we can really get a lot of stuff done...ba haaaaaa. I made sure I ran the sweeper before I even signed on to the computer this a.m.
Please pray for my mother today, she is having colon surgery today and we are praying they find no cancer. THANKS!!!

It is truly amazing how much more you get done whn you don't have internet. It is also amazing how quickly you get sucked back into old habits when you get it back! LOL

My mother's surgery went great. She is recouperating quite well. The Dr. said it did look like cancer...but will have to wait to see the pathology report....ON MONDAY...arrrgggh. Anyhow, we are confident that it will be caught early and she is a woman of faith. We can handle it. Thank you so much for your prayers. Yep, I do understand taking a break....I'm now setting the timer while I am online. Plus, I have to do some type of cleaning BEFORE I even get on the computer.
