1950's Recipe - Pickle Dogs


This recipe originally appeared in Woman's Day August 1953 and sounds just perfect for the pickle lovers in your family.

Pickle Dogs

A pound of hamburger makes 4 big juicy "dogs".
Divide hamburger into 4 parts, shape each over a long dill pickle strip.
Cook over a quiet fire to desired doneness.
Meanwhile toast split frankfurter rolls for the hot pickle dogs.
Provide prepared mustard and ketchup or chili sauce.
